Brown,
24, had only re-signed for Southern Premier Division Central side Bromsgrove
Sporting in May 2021 from rivals Alvechurch, for whom he had joined in July
2020 from Stafford.
He
originally joined Rangers in January 2020 from Southern Division One South
outfit Evesham United, where he had only been since the previous November after
signing from neighbours Bromsgrove Sporting.
He
was in his second spell with Sporting, who enjoyed a successful loan spell when
he joined the Rouslers from Kidderminster Harriers in 2016.
He
re-joined Sporting at the start of the 2018/19 season having been on loan at
Sutton Coldfield Town for half of the previous season.
Before
joining Harriers, he had been with Boldmere St Michaels, AFC Wulfrunians and
Rushall Olympic.
Townsend (pictured) is a vastly experienced 35-year-old centre-back who had joined Redditch United
in June 2020 from Southern Premier Division Central rivals Stratford Town, who
he joined in late January 2020.
He
arrived having only recently signed for Midland League Premier Division side
Walsall Wood from Stratford`s league rivals Coalville Town.
He
signed for the Ravens in November from Midland League Division One outfit
Hinckley AFC.
The
imposing defender made over 100 appearances for both Cheltenham Town and
Hereford United in the Football League whilst also playing for the likes of
Rushall Olympic, Sutton Coldfield Town and Barwell. |
