Defender Returns to Morpeth
Callum Morris has returned to Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Morpeth Town.

The defender previously played for the club in the Northern League a decade ago and also had spells with Blyth Spartans, Hayes & Yeading United and Spanish side Jerez Industrial whilst with the Glenn Hoddle Academy.

 

He was signed by Dunfermline Athletic in 2012 and went on to make 55 appearances before moves to Dundee United, Aberdeen, back to Dunfermline and more recently, Ross County.

 

He is a Republic of Ireland under-19 and under-21 international.

 

Morpeth manager Stephen Turnbull told his club`s website: “I am delighted to have Callum on board.

 

“He will bring a wealth of experience from higher levels. I’ve played with Callum before and he’s the right type of character we want at the club.

 

“Securing a player of his quality and experience shows the ambition of the club”.
