Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Walton Casuals have made three new additions to their squad for 2021/22 and seen three commit from last season`s squad.

New at the Elmbridge Sports Hub are Josh Lelan and Warren Sadare-Morgan, while Rohdell Gordon returns to the Stags for a second spell.

 

Twenty-six-year-old Lelan`s last club was Vanarama National League Aldershot Town, who he joined in July 2018.

 

He hails Derbyshire and can play at right-back and centre-back.

 

He made 33 appearances for Crawley Town in 2017/18, having won the League Two championship with Northampton Town in 2015/16.

 

He won one international cap for Kenya in 2016 and began his career in the Derby County academy, making his senior debut in the Conference Premier during a 2013 loan spell at Gateshead.

 

He also made 5 appearances for Swindon Town at the start of the 2014/15 season.

 

Sadare-Morgan is a 28-year-old defender who joins the Stags from Isthmian League Premier Division neighbours Corinthian-Casuals.

 

He was a regular in the Corinthian-Casuals side, making over 150 appearances since joining in 2015 from Carshalton Athletic.

 

He was previously with North Greenford United and Sutton United.

 

Gordon (pictured), 25, is a midfielder who had returned to Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town in the summer of 2020 from rivals St Albans City, who he signed for towards the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

 

He had originally joined Walton Casuals in the summer of 2019 from Royston Town, having started out at Stevenage. 

 

He also had spells in the National League and National League South with Braintree, Bromley and Hemel Hempstead Town, as well as Hayes & Yeading United and Ashford United and had a solitary appearance for the Casuals under his belt already back in 2012.

 

Those putting pen-to-paper from last season`s squad are James O`Halloran, Tashan Hayden-Smith and Zidan Akers.

 

O`Halloran, 20, is a defender who originally signed for Casuals in the summer of 2020 from Isthmian Premier side Merstham, where he had been since October 2019.

 

A former England Schoolboy international who started out at Maidstone United.

 

He joined AFC Wimbledon in November 2018 after a successful trial.

 

Hayden-Smith, 24, is a midfielder who initially signed for the Stags in September 2020.

 

Started out at Enfield Town and has also had spells with AFC Hillgate, Canvey Island, Northwood Egham Town, Chertsey Town and Hanwell Town.

 

Akers, 22, also signed for the Stags in September 2020 from National League South side Hungerford Town.

 

He had joined the Crusaders in July 2019 having ended the 2018/19 season with then-Southern Division One South side Thatcham Town.

 

He signed for the Kingfishers from Basingstoke Town in March 2019 having previously been on the books of Scottish side Hearts and Championship outfit Reading.
