Ingham,
who turned 41 last week, had been with NPL Northern Premier Division One East
side Tadcaster Albion since October 2016.
The
Brewers fought off interest from a number of professional clubs to get the
signature of the experienced former Northern Ireland international following
his release by York City.
He
was between the sticks at Bootham Crescent over 260 times and following the
completion of the 2015/16 season he turned down a new one-year deal at the
Minstermen.
A
Northern Ireland under-18, 21 and 3-times full international, started out in
his homeland with Cliftonville before being signed by Sunderland in 1999.
He
spent six years on the Black Cats` books but made only 2 appearances and had
loan spells with Carlisle United, Stoke City, Stockport County, Darlington,
York, Wrexham, Doncaster Rovers and back at Clftonville.
He
joined Wrexham on a permanent basis in 2005 and played 71 times for the Dragons
and, after a short spell with Hereford United, joined York in May 2008. |
