Edgar is a 27-year-old winger with an excellent pedigree.
He started his career with West Ham United and made his one and only senior appearance for the Hammers in an FA Cup Third Round defeat by Arsenal in January 2010.
He made his League bow whilst on loan with AFC Bournemouth in October 2009, making three appearances before returning to West Ham, despite the Cherries wanting to extend his stay.
He was released by the Hammers in the summer of 2011 and joined Yeovil Town, for whom he made 10 appearances and scored his first professional goal.
He left Huish Park after one season and returned to London with Barnet, playing 11 games in League Two, and then to Dagenham & Redbridge, where he added 7 games to his tally.
He signed for Italian Serie D side Triestina in July 2014 but didn`t play during his time in Italy due to complications with his contract.
After a short spell with Bishop`s Stortford, Edgar joined Braintree Town and spells with Woking and Hayes & Yeading United followed.
Also joining Cray Valley is midfielder Jake Rose.
Rose started as a youngster at AFC Wimbledon.
An attacking midfielder with an eye for goal, he has also been at Dulwich Hamlet, Farnborough, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Merstham and Molesey.
