Howarth (pictured) is a 22-year-old midfielder who returns to the Mariners from Vanarama National
League North side Guiseley AFC, having been on loan from Salford City in 2019.
He
had been with the Lions since August 2020 having spent ten years in the Burnley
academy and moved to Nethermoor following a spell at Salford.
He
was born in Burnley and joined the academy set up at his home-town club aged
10.
He
suffered a stress fracture in his back in late 2017 whilst with the Turf Moor
outfit and was side-lined for six months.
He
was released by the Clarets in 2019 and joined Salford from where he had loan
spells at Droylsden and Buxton as well as the Mariners.
Twenty-two-year-old
Reilly joins Marine from National League North outfit Chorley.
He
came through the ranks at Crewe Alexandra, making 8 League appearances for the
Railwaymen.
He
also had loan spells with Halesowen Town, AFC Telford United and two stints at
Curzon Ashton whilst at Gresty Road.
