Wells (pictured) re-joins Frickley for a second spell at Westfield Lane.
A
well-travelled player, he returns to the Blues from Newark, who he signed for
at the start of last season.
He
played alongside brother Kieran at Gedling Town, Handsworth Parramore,
Long Eaton United, Stamford AFC and Basford United and he has also been with Spalding
United, Gresley Rovers, AFC Mansfield, Hednesford Town, Belper Town and
Ilkeston Town.
Sawyer
is a 22-year-old central midfielder who joins the Blues from new United
Counties League Premier Division North side Skegness Town.
He
started his career with Grimsby Town, who were relegated back to the Vanarama
National League at the end of last season.
He
progressed through the Mariners` ranks to earn a professional deal in the
summer of 2017.
He
was released from Blundell Park at the end of the 2017/18 season and signed for
Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division neighbours Barton
Town.
He
switched to Skegness in November 2019.
Sawyer
actually registered with Frickley in April but was unable to play due to
lockdown. |
