Young
defender Ryan Graham, left-back Liam Brockbank and goalkeeper Matt Alexander
have all put pen-to-paper for the Dolly Blues for 2021/22.
Graham (pictured) is an 18-year-old who joins City having left SkyBet League One side Accrington
Stanley in the summer where he spent ten years in the academy.
A
left-sided centre-half who can also play as a left-back, he has impressed the
City management during his spell at the club during pre-season and did enough
to earn himself a deal for the 2021/22 season.
Brockbank
is a 20-year-old England Futsal international who signed for NPL Division One
West side Workington AFC in May 2019 after being released by League Two
neighbours Carlisle United.
The
Millom-based defender was released after starring in their Cumberland Cup final
success over Penrith.
Alexander
is joining City from League Two Bolton Wanderers on a season-long loan.
The
young keeper played for Lancaster against Longridge Town at the weekend.
Alexander
has two senior appearances under his belt for Bolton and kept a clean sheet
against Coventry City on his full debut in August 2019.
He
then featured in a 1-1 draw against Bradford City which was decided on
penalties the following month in the EFL Trophy.
Last
season the 19-year-old again worked regularly with the first team but had fewer
appearances on the bench. |
