Record Goalscorer Returns to 1874 Northwich
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West new boys 1874 Northwich have announced the signing of central defender Jack Marrow.

Marrow, 18, recently finished his scholarship with SkyBet League One side Crewe Alexandra before joining 1874 this summer.

 

1874 have also re-signed record goalscorer Scott McGowan from NPL Premier Division neighbours Nantwich Town.

 

McGowan (pictured) made the step up to the Northern Premier Division in the curtailed 2020/21 campaign,

 

During the 2019/20 season he found the net 30 times for 1874 and the 33-year-old scored a club record 128 goals in just 189 appearances over four seasons with the Mid-Cheshire club.

 

He was previously with Congleton Town, where he became a fan-favourite after notching 30 goals in 56 games for the Bears and was also a regular scorer for Styal in the Cheshire League prior to that.
