Vanarama National League club Dover Athletic have brought defensive midfielder Ryan Hanson back to the Kent coast.

The 20-year-year, born in Dover, was on loan at Crabble from then-SkyBet League One side Hull City from November 2020, playing 7 times.

 

A former Dover Boys Grammar School student, he joined the Tigers in the summer of 2019 after being released by Crystal Palace, where he had spent five years.

 

He joined Palace after impressing while playing for the Dover Athletic under-13’s in a Kent League tournament.

 

Hanson started playing football for Dover Rangers when he was 6 and has also represented Dover District and Kent.
