The
most experienced arrival is that of 26-year-old midfielder Liam Canavan (pictured, who
moves to the Dovecote from Leicestershire Senior League side Thurnby Rangers.
He
was dual-registered with Thurby having originally signed for Dynamo in October
2020 from Leicester Nirvana.
Canavan
played in the Southern League Premier Division for Nuneaton Town and Kettering
Town, for whom he made almost 100 appearances and scored 18 goals from 2015 to
2017.
He
has also had spells with Hinckley United and Barwell.
Midfielder
Dan Tuck has signed from Shepshed-based side Ingles, who groundshare at the
Dovecote.
As
well as the new United Counties League Division One side, Tuck has also been
with Coalville Town, Loughborough University and Mansfield Town.
He
has impressed manager Damion Beckford Quailey during recent training and
friendlies.
Defender
Joel Wolfe has joined from former United Counties League rivals Anstey Nomads,
where he has spent the last few seasons.
Wolfe
was on Nottingham Forest`s books as a youngster and then had spells with
Birstall United, Lutterworth Athletic, Coalville Town, Oadby Town and Leicester
Nirvana.
Shaquille
O'Neil Brooks has joined from another UCL outfit, Lutterworth Town.
He
is comfortable as either a central defender or left back.
Lynus
King is a 24-year-old right back or holding midfielder who joins Shepshed from new
league rivals Bedworth United.
He
had signed for the Greenbacks from Oadby Town in October 2019.
As
a junior he had a spell with Stoke City before moving to Holland and becoming
part of both Ajax and Feyenoord’s youth systems.
On
returning to the UK, he has had spells at Leicester Nirvana, Nuneaton Borough,
Stamford AFC and Gresley Rovers.
Midfielder
Abdul Koroma arrives having previously been at another former UCL rival,
Leicester Nirvana.
The
19-year-old was previously with Southern Premier Division Central outfit
Tamworth.
The
club have also secured the services of midfielder Ben Starkie.
Starkie,
who is from Leicester, has more recently played for SV Wilhelmshaven in
Germany, and has also represented Tanzania under-20s at international level. |
