Gonzales is an experienced forward who re-joins the Blues from league rivals Ramsbottom United.

The 29-year-old started the 2019/20 season with Colne after arriving from Droylsden.

He moved to Northern Premier outfit South Shields in late December 2019 before switching to rivals Matlock Town in June 2020. However, he left two months later to join Ramsbottom without playing a game for the Gladiators.

He signed for the Bloods in November 2017 after a brief spell with Clitheroe.

He had only just returned to Clitheroe for a third time, having been with then-National League North side FC United of Manchester. And he had only joined FC United a month earlier after joining from Altrincham.

The 6`4” striker had joined Alty from Stockport County, where he was signed in the summer of 2015 from Clitheroe, where he had scored 41 goals in his eighty appearances.

Prior to joining Clitheroe for the first time, he had played for both Kendal Town and Droylsden and had also enjoyed brief spells with Chorley and Stalybridge Celtic.

Clitheroe have also signed winger Jamie Edwards from North West Counties League neighbours AFC Darwen.

The attacking wide man started his career as a youth player at Blackpool.

Turner, meanwhile, boasts a pedigree as an academy player at Liverpool before a spell with Clitheroe`s league rivals Runcorn Linnets last season.

The 20-year-old makes the switch from Cheshire outfit Winstanley Warriors.
