The
most experienced of the newcomers is 32-year-old midfielder Paul Marshall.
He
had signed for Boro`s league rivals Buxton from Vanarama National League North
outfit Curzon Ashton in July 2019 before doing a U-turn and joining NPL
Division One North West club Mossley AFC.
The
Manchester native started out with Manchester City, making 15 appearances in
the League for Blackpool and Port Vale and 9 for Scottish Premier side Aberdeen
whilst on loan.
He
was released by City in 2010 and joined Walsall, for whom he appeared 18 times.
After
short stints at Rochdale and Droylsden, he joined Port Vale in 2012 and played
15 times for the Valiants.
Spells
with FC Halifax Town, Stockport County, Bradford Park Avenue and Alfreton Town
followed before the three-times capped England under-20 international signed
for Curzon in May 2017, also turning out for Glossop North End on dual
registration in 2018/19.
Sale-born
Taylor Jones is a 19-year-old defender who joins Radcliffe from SkyBet League
Two neighbours Oldham Athletic.
He
came through the ranks at Boundary Park and was a regular in the Latics
under-18 side.
Young
goalkeeper Sully Sassad makes the switch from league rivals Matlock Town and
will add competition for the number one spot.
Ibrahim (pictured),
21, joins from Norrvalla FF in Finland.
A
21-year-old box-to-box midfielder, had played in the Finnish fourth tier since
October 2020.
Jordan
Carroll joins from League of Ireland First Division outfit Athlone Town, having
also previously played for Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Shelbourne.
The
20-year-old Irish native is versatile, being able to play at either central midfield
or right back, offering different options for manager Lee Fowler when required.
He
has impressed the backroom staff during pre-season having taken part in every
game so far as a triallist. |
