Leonard Makes Dunston Move

Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East club Dunston have signed wide player Jack Leonard.

The 19-year-old joins from NPL Premier Division side Morpeth Town, where he had been since September 2020 after a successful trial spell.

He was released by Vanarama National League outfit Hartlepool United at the end of the 2019/20 season without making a first-team appearance during his time at the club.

He represented Hartlepool’s youth team in 2019/20 but was one of several scholars released due to the uncertainty and lack of clarity provided by the club regarding its youth set-up.
