Winger
Taurean Roberts (pictured) has moved to Kent from Pitching In Southern League Premier
Division South side Walton Casuals.
The
30-year-old had been with the Stags since October 2020 when he joined from
league rivals Harrow Borough, for whom he signed for in November 2019.
He
is a product of the Crystal Palace academy and went on to play a key role for
Salisbury as they soared to a Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier title
success and advanced to the semi-finals of the Buildbase FA Vase in 2016/17.
He
quickly became a fans’ favourite, chipping in with some memorable goals. But
the former Merstham and Metropolitan Police winger left for Tooting &
Mitcham United in August 2016 before returning to the Ray Mac in February 2017.
He
went on to play for Hampton & Richmond Borough in the Vanarama National
League South and had a brief period on loan at Harrow as well as being on dual
terms with Kingstonian.
Another
pacey winger joining Sheppey is Kane Phillip.
Phillip
was in his second spell with Isthmian League South East side Hythe Town,
originally joining in February 2019 before leaving for Sittingbourne, having re-joined
just before lockdown in February 2020.
He
has also played for Ebbsfleet United, Herne Bay and Dover Athletic.
Young
striker James Jeffery arrives from Isthmian Premier Division outfit Margate.
He
had signed for `Gate in the summer of 2019 from Sheppey`s league rivals K
