The
former Huddersfield Town player, who made one Championship appearance for the
Terriers, arrives at the Global Autocare Stadium from rivals Brighouse Town.
After
leaving Huddersfield his first permanent port of call in non-League football
was with Ossett Albion in late 2017.
He’s
also had spells with Liversedge, but his main club since 2018 has been
Brighouse where he has developed into a solid Step 4 defender.
A
local lad who attended the open trials is among the latest three new signings
at NPL Division One East outfit Tadcaster Albion.
Eighteen-year-old
centre-back Kieran Burton was most recently playing for Championship club
Barnsley`s scholars.
He
actually played for Tadcaster’s under-7s way back when and he was playing for
Tadcaster Magnets by the age of 15.
Attacking
midfielder Oliver Norman has impressed in the pre-season friendlies and has
earned a deal.
He
was recently released by Bradford City where he was in their under-18 side.
Centre-back
Kesi Omolokun is the third signing.
Having
come through the Bradford City ranks and had a loan spell with Scarborough
Athletic whilst on the Bantams boos.
H
joined Aberdeen in 2016 for a year before falling out of love for the game.
Other
than a few games for Eccleshill United and Albion Sports in the Toolstation
Northern Counties East League, he has rarely played until deciding to get fit
this year.
Quinn
told his club`s website: “Oliver has recently left Bradford City and we have
been very impressed with his application and technical ability. It’s early days
for Oli at senior level but it’s up to him to work hard and to keep impressing
in pre-season and beyond.
“Kieran
attended our open trial in June. We have been impressed with him since the
trial, so much so we have involved him quickly with the first team squad and he
has taken his opportunity.” |
