Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Leek Town have signed striker Zack Clarke on an initial month`s loan from Vanarama National League North side Chester FC.

The 18-year-old signed at the Deva Stadium in June having departed National League outfit Stockport County after a successful spell in their youth set-up, ending his time by winning the academy second year players` player of the year award.

 

The 6’3” attacker impressed Blues bosses Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley during a trial game and was subsequently snapped up and he made his mark on debut, scoring 4 goals in the second half of a 6-0 pre-season win over Elton Vale.
