Tony Joyce quit as manager of the Walnut Boys at the end of July following some disappointing pre-season friendly performances.

Dash joins having previously managed Isthmian League South Central side Northwood from October 2018 to October 2019 was most recently assistant manager at Wood`s league rivals Chalfont St Peter.

Dash started his playing career at Wycombe Wanderers, before having spells at Hayes & Yeading United, Hillingdon Borough and Beaconsfield Town.

He retired playing through injury – and after three knee operations - and went into coaching, starting as Leverstock Green under-18 manager, before managing the senior side in the Spartan South Midlands League and going on to achieve silverware in the St Mary's Cup.

Following a successful interview with the club last week with assistant Mark Royal, Kempston chairman Andy Kirby said: “We are delighted to welcome Scott and Mark to the club. We feel with their experience and knowledge of the league that they are a very good fit for us. We look forward to a very happy and successful relationship”.
