Tony
Joyce quit as manager of the Walnut Boys at the end of July following some
disappointing pre-season friendly performances.
Dash
joins having previously managed Isthmian League South Central side Northwood
from October 2018 to October 2019 was most recently assistant manager at Wood`s
league rivals Chalfont St Peter.
Dash
started his playing career at Wycombe Wanderers, before having spells at Hayes
& Yeading United, Hillingdon Borough and Beaconsfield Town.
He
retired playing through injury – and after three knee operations - and went
into coaching, starting as Leverstock Green under-18 manager, before managing
the senior side in the Spartan South Midlands League and going on to achieve
silverware in the St Mary's Cup.
Following
a successful interview with the club last week with assistant Mark Royal, Kempston
chairman Andy Kirby said: “We are delighted to welcome Scott and Mark to the
club. We feel with their experience and knowledge of the league that they are a
very good fit for us. We look forward to a very happy and successful
