Midfielder Christian Smith (pictured) and forward or wide midfielder Lewis Wilson have both put pen-to-paper for the Greens.

Smith, 33, joined Hampton & Richmond Borough in September 2020 from Vanarama National League South rivals Dulwich Hamlet, who he had signed for from Wealdstone in June 2019.

He had joined the Stones in November 2018 from National League side Maidenhead United.

The versatile player became popular with York Road regulars for his tough-tackling style since signing for the Magpies in November 2015.

He scored the first of his 8 goals in the Stripes on debut against Bideford, making 59 starts and appearing on the substitutes bench on a further 79 occasions, including the memorable 3-0 success at Margate which saw Maidenhead crowned as National League South champions in April 2017.

Much travelled, after starting his career with Port Vale, he moved on to have spells with Scottish side Clyde, Wrexham, York City, Chester FC, Nantwich Town, AFC Telford United, Chelmsford City and Hayes & Yeading United as well as a host of loans.

Wilson, 28, had re-joined Southern Premier Division Central side Stratford Town in July 2020 from league rivals Banbury United, where he had been since January 2020.

He joined the now sadly defunct Rushden & Diamonds after a successful trial in 2009 after he had been spotted playing for Newport Pagnell Town.

He started a two-year scholarship and was a regular in the youth team, scoring 16 goals in his first year.

In his second year, he featured twice for the first team in the Northants Senior Cup against Daventry United and Brackley Town and also joined former club Newport Pagnell and then Northampton Spencer on `work experience`.

In the summer of 2011, he was released and re-joined Newport Pagnell but in January 2012, he joined League Two side Northampton Town on a contract until the end of the season after impressing on a one-week trial.

He made his debut for the Cobblers in April 2012 in a 3–1 defeat to Crawley Town.

In April, he signed a one-year professional contract and the following November 2012, he joined Kettering Town on loan in January 2013.

He then played for Kettering on a permanent basis, St Neots Town, Oxford City, Arlesey Town, AFC Rushden & Diamonds and had a second spell at St Neots before joining Cambridge City for season 2017/18, scoring 13 goals from 45 appearances for the Lilywhites.

He moved to Stratford for the first time in the summer of 2018, making 82 appearances for the Warwickshire side, scoring 10 goals.

He signed for Macclesfield Town in September 2020 but after their sad demise, he re-joined Kettering the following month.
