The
33-year-old defender started his career at Bradford City, playing 18 times in
League One and League Two, before moving briefly to Bradford Park Avenue at the
start of 2009/10.
He
then moved to Guiseley AFC and helped them win promotion from the Northern
Premier to Conference North and stayed with them until 2012/13, making 134
appearances.
He
moved to Luton Town in 2012, making 27 appearances, and then on to FC Halifax
Town (64 appearances), before going back to Park Avenue halfway through the
2014/15 season.
He
moved to Harrogate Town at the start of the 2016/17 season, and it was in
January 2017 when he was converted to a striker, scoring 23 goals in the
remainder of that season.
He
scored 13 goals in 15 games in the 2017/18 season before reverting back to
centre-back when moving to Darlington in the summer of 2018.
He
moved to National League North club Boston United on a season-long loan in July
2019 and then switched to Northern Premier outfit Gainsborough Trinity in July
2020.
Promising
young defender T`Nique Fishley has also become an Amateur for a second time.
He
signed for NPL Division One Midlands side Belper Town in October 2020 from NPL
Division One West side Brighouse Town.
He
had joined Brighouse in July 2020 from NPL Premier Division outfit Scarborough
Athletic.
He
made 13 appearances for the Seasiders in 2019/20 – half of them starts and half
off the bench. He has also featured for Ossett United as well as Yorkshire
Amateur.
James
Beaston joins from former Northern Counties East League rivals Garforth Town.
A
tireless, combative and vocal holding midfielder who can also play at
centre-half, he made over 100 appearances for Garforth.
Ross
Duggan joins from another former NCEL rival, AFC Mansfield.
A
forward with previous experience at Maltby Main and Belper Town, he is a talented
striker. |
