The well-travelled 31-year-old has been enticed out of early retirement by the Rams, who have won their opening two league games.

Rose started his career at Queens Park Rangers and was part of their youth set-up before loan periods with AFC Wimbledon, Northampton Town and Torquay United to gain experience brought him into first-team contention and a full debut.

He has also played in the Vanarama National League for Eastleigh and Maidenhead United and played in the FA Trophy Final for Newport County as well as having short spells with Marlow, Staines Town Hayes & Yeading United, Slough Town, Droylsden, Wealdstone, Gosport Borough and Hayes & Yeading United.

He lingered a little longer at Whitehawk, playing 25 times in 2017/18, and then signed for National League South outfit Hungerford Town ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

He made 7 appearances for the Crusaders before deciding to take a break from the game.
