The 23-year-old right-back joined The Nash in November 2020 from National League side FC Halifax Town.

He started out with Huddersfield Town at the age of 13, from Kirkburton Juniors, turning professional two years later.

He signed for Bradford City in January 2017 and scored his first senior goal for Bradford on his debut in an EFL Trophy tie against Chesterfield in August 2017.

In January 2018, he moved on loan to FC Halifax in March 2018 and then re-joined the Shaymen on loan in July 2018 and signed on a more permanent two-and-a-half-year deal in January 2019 for an undisclosed fee.

FC United have also taken young box-to-box midfielder Jamie Cooke on loan from National League side FC Halifax.

The 19-year-old had only recently signed for the Shaymen from Northern Premier Division One West side Colne, where he had been since June 2020.

He spent the previous four years at Fleetwood Town, joining the Cod Army as a 14-year-old.
