Having
already brought in Joe Curtis from United Counties League Premier Division
South neighbours Wellingborough Town, Steelmen boss Gary Mills has now added
goalkeeper Matt Hall and forward Niall Towle.
Hall (pictured) is a former West Bromwich Albion scholar who starred for the club's under-18s.
He
was voted goalkeeper of the tournament during the Honved Cup in August 2015
with the Baggies finishing as runners-up to Danish outfit Aalborg.
Hall
was called up as cover to the first-team set-up by then-manager Tony Pulis in
2015/16.
After
being released by Albion, he joined then-JD Cymru Premier outfit Bangor City
before being signed by Cardiff City to play in their under-23 side.
Towle
joins Corby on a month`s loan from NPL Premier Division side Basford United.
He
left Midland League Premier Division side Long Eaton United to join Basford on
a two-year contract in May 2020.
He
was one of several excellent young players developed through Long Eaton`s youth
system and played a prominent role in the club`s recent successful FAYC sides
before progressing to the first team. |
