Midfielder Returns to Town

Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division club Enfield Town have re-signed midfielder Lyle Della-Verde from Vanarama National League South side Welling United.

The 26-year-had had re-joined the Wings, initially on dual-registration in November 2020 as, at the time, they were still playing ahead of the second lockdown.

Della-Verde originally signed for Town on Christmas Eve 2019 from Southern League Premier Division South side Hayes & Yeading United, where he had been since August 2019.

He began his career in the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and then Southend United before moving to Fulham in 2011. He has also played for Bristol Rovers, Fleetwood Town, Crawley Town, Welling United, Concord Rangers and Dartford.

He joined Isthmian Premier outfit Kingstonian in March 2019, also on a dual registration basis, with Braintree Town, before signing for Hayes & Yeading.
