Bootle Sign Experienced Keeper

Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Bootle have added two new players to their squad.

Experienced goalkeeper Craig Ellison (pictured) joins from NPL Premier Division side Hyde United.

The 33-year-old had been with the Tigers since August 2020 after arriving from Bootle`s league rivals Runcorn Linnets.

He had joined the Linnets in late January 2020 from North West Counties League side Congleton Town.

The 6`4” keeper has experience with Burscough, Vauxhall Motors, Droylsden, Witton Albion, FC Halifax Town, Garforth Town, Curzon Ashton amongst others, and has also played in Brazil and USA for Miami Dade.

He took up coaching in 2009, founding `Reflect Goalkeeper Academy`.

Striker Paul Foy joins from West Cheshire League outfit Newton.

He has bags of experience, having previously been on the books at Cammell Laird, Stalybridge Celtic, Marine AFC, Litherland REMYCA, Prescot Cables and Skelmersdale United.
