Grayson (pictured), now 28, is a much-travelled forward who is Doncaster born and played for his home-town club Rovers, going on to make one appearance in the first team before joining Frickley Athletic in the summer of 2011 where he spent one season before a season at Matlock Town.

In the summer of 2013 he moved to Sweden, playing for third tier outfit Ange IF, where his 24 goals helped secure promotion before a short spell in Australia with Cumberland FC.

He spent the 2014/15 season at Stocksbridge Park Steels before moving to the Philippines and an impressive stint with top-flight side Loyola before returning to Frickley.

He had a stunning season in 2016/17, scoring 28 goals in 42 appearances for Buxton, but he moved to Mickleover Sports in the summer of 2017 before returning to the Silverlands in January 2018.

After a period on loan, he moved to league rivals Stafford Rangers in November 2019.

He returned to NPL Division One South East side Frickley in June 2020 and then onto NPL Premier Division Grantham Town in the summer of 2021.

Midfielder Liam Waldock joins the list of players that have recently followed the route from League One giants Sheffield Wednesday to the Northolme on loan.

Making his senior debut for the Owls as a 20-year-old in the Carabao Cup against then-Premier League side Fulham, Waldock put in an assured debut before going on to impress Hillsborough boss Darren Moore enough to extend his stay with Wednesday.
