Striker
Mitch Candlin (pictured) joins from league rivals Stafford Rangers.
The
21-year-old had been with Rangers since July 2020.
He
is a lively forward who joined SkyBet League Two side Walsall as a professional
in 2017 and has had loan spells with Blackburn Rovers, Nuneaton Borough and
Alvechurch and joined his home-town club after his release from the Saddlers,
with Rangers seeing off interest from other parties.
The
Tigers have also taken centre-back James Jones on loan from Vanarama National
League North side Alfreton Town.
The
22-year-old signed for the Reds in September 2020.
He
signed for Salford City from Chester for an undisclosed fee in the summer of
2018.
He
broke into the Chester first team during the 2017/18 campaign after he signed
his first professional contract the previous summer. He made 15 appearances
before his move to the Ammies.
He
featured just 4 times for Salford in cup competitions in the 2018/19 season
with loan spells at Boston United and Ashton United.
He
then re-joined Chester on loan for the 2019/20 campaign before being released
by Salford following the eventual conclusion of the 2019/20 season. |
