Mason`s Back at Mossley

Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Mossley AFC have announced the return of experienced defender Steve Mason after taking a brief break from football.

The 32-year-old originally joined Mossley from Trafford in August 2018 and made 66 appearances for the Lilywhites and scored 2 goals.

He had made over 200 appearances in two spells with the Shawe View outfit where he won both supporters` and managers` player of the year awards.

The experienced and talented central defender has also played for Maine Road and Ashton United.

Also moving to Seel Park is 19-year-old Will Shepherd.

He is a clever midfielder signed from NPL Premier Division side Warrington Town for whom he had made several appearances from the bench this season.

He had joined Warrington in the close season after graduating from League Two Salford City's academy and under-23s, making his first team debut in the EFL Trophy against Manchester United under-21s last season.
