Greek Move for Greens Defender

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Hendon have announced that defender Toby Byron has left Silver Jubilee Park to begin a new adventure in Greek football.

The 20-year-old is to sign for Greek Super League 2 club Irodotos FC this week.

Byron returned to the Greens a year ago from Hertford Town and made 15 appearances over his two spells, scoring twice.

He originally joined Hendon from then-Vanarama National League outfit Sutton United in October 2019.

He had signed for the U`s in the summer after being released by Championship side Luton Town.

He was a regular in the Hatters` under-18 side and had a `work experience` spell with Southern Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town in the second half of the 2018/19 season.
