Centre-back Levi Andoh, 21, joins the Bulls from SkyBet League One side Ipswich Town where he impressed after a trial spell at the club.

The defender started his career at Aston Villa and bounced around clubs before playing for Worcester City and Solihull United in 2019.

He joined Ipswich in 2020 on a two-year contract.

Manager Josh Gowling told https://www.herefordfc.co.uk: “We’ve brought in Levi Andoh from Ipswich. He`s a big, strong, powerful boy, very quick. I’ve spoken to a few people at Ipswich, and I’ve seen him play. We wanted two centre-halves through the door, so he has come in now, 6’2″, big, wiry. He can play right-back as well and get up and down the line.”

Gowling has also signed Bristol Rovers youth team prospect Ollie Hulbert (pictured), who has been on the books with the Gas since the under-8 age group, on a month`s loan.

The centre-forward captained the under-18s during their 2019/20 FA Youth Cup fixtures and was on the scoresheet as Rovers beat Swindon Town.

In his first loan move away, Hulbert hit the ground running in the 2020/21 campaign, firing in 14 goals in 23 games for Cardiff Met in the Cymru Premier, including a hat-trick on one occasion.

Gowling gave high praise to the 18-year-old forward after his time at Cardiff Met and saying that it gives extra competition in the side and a major boost to the team.
