The 31-year-old returns to Westfield Lane from NPL Premier Division side Hyde United, where he had only been since June.

Hinsley (pictured) has had a well-travelled period since the summer of 2020 when he signed for Grantham Town.

He moved to NPL Division One East side Worksop Town two months later, then to rivals Belper Town in November 2020 and then to Hyde.

He re-joined league rivals Matlock Town from Frickley in May 2019, having been with the Gladiators for a five-month period in 2018/19.

He first signed for Frickley in the summer of 2012 from Harrogate Railway and returns looking to add to the 200-plus games he has played for Athletic.

He has also played for Goole AFC. Yorkshire Main, North Ferriby United and Buxton.

Frickley have also signed tall, athletic and pacey player Tyreece Robinson from NPL Division One Midlands side Belper Town.

He has gained a substantial amount of experience at a number of clubs, including Ilkeston Town and Gresley FC.

He originally came to prominence at the Mickleover Sports academy when the club had high hopes for his future after he captured the attention of a number of league clubs.

He signed for Belper in 2020.
