played much of his career at a higher level.
He
made 5 appearances for Hinckley in the club`s successful 2016/17 campaign, including
playing in the FA Vase win over Quorn, before leaving for pastures new.
He
is also one of the few players to feature for both AFC and Hinckley United,
having featured in the Knitters’ final season before its liquidation.
Manager
Courtney Belford told http://www.hinckleyafc.co.uk: “Jacob is the last piece of
the jigsaw.
“He
brings the experience we need at 28 years old. He’s a big strong lad, will give
us a presence, will talk and organise and is a real leader. He’ll be a good
signing, another that the fans will like and he’s a great character.”
Sturgess
also counts Belper Town, Bedworth United, Gresley Rovers and Kettering Town
amongst his former clubs.
