Following the arrival of Connor Shanks on loan from Championship side Huddersfield Town yesterday, Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Nuneaton Borough have now brought in forward Nathan Caine on a month`s loan from League Two outfit Mansfield Town.

The 18-year-old joined the Stags as a youngster following a spell with Rochdale.

 

He is a graduate of the club's academy and has made one appearance for the first team in 2020/21, against Scunthorpe United in the Papa John's Trophy.

 

Nuneaton boss Jimmy Ginnelly told his club`s website: “I’ve been football friends with Mansfield manager Nigel Clough for many years and I’d like to thank him for his help is completing this move. I’m looking forward to working with Nathan and hopefully he can take some of the chances the team have been creating”.
