The
talented 19-year-old centre-back made his first-team debut on the last game of
the 2020/21 season.
Coming
on for the second half against already promoted Peterborough United, it was
merited for an academy product who caught the eye of several of the coaches.
He
signed professional terms in July 2020 and had his contract extended in June
running until next summer.
Born
in Leeds, Blythe captained the under-18s and led them to the top of Youth
Alliance League in his final season with the academy team.
He
can also play left-back.
