Frickley Take on Two Mariners
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East club Frickley Athletic have signed youngsters Luis Adlard and Jaz Goundry from Vanarama National League side Grimsby Town on a month`s loan.

Both Adlard and Goundry signed their first professional contract with the Mariners in the summer of 2021 after progressing through the academy system.

 

Goundry (pictured), a 6'4 defender, is yet to make his debut for the club, whereas Adlard made his professional debut for Grimsby back in September 2019, coming on as a substitute in the EFL Trophy during a 2-1 defeat at home to Scunthorpe United.

 

The young striker also made 3 substitute appearances in League Two during the 2020/21 campaign.

 

Both players are eligible to play in today's fixture at home to Pickering Town.
