The Glassboys have swooped to secure the services of vastly experienced striker Reece Styche (pictured)following his departure from league rivals Hednesford Town earlier this week.

The 32-year-old, who is a current Gibraltar international, signed for the Pitmen in May after a second spell with Northern Premier League Premier Division side Buxton began in June 2020.

He moved to Silverlands from Stourbridge`s league rivals Bromsgrove Sporting, who he had joined in February 2020.

He began his career at Hednesford going on to have spells at Grantham Town, Coalville Town, Shepshed Dynamo and Chasetown.

His goalscoring record came into fruition at Forest Green Rovers where he scored 35 goals in 108 appearances between 2010 and 2014.

Further spells at Wycombe Wanderers and Kidderminster Harriers followed as well as Macclesfield Town and Gateshead.

He was then loaned to Nuneaton Borough during the 2016/17 season before moving to Tamworth in the summer of 2017 ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, where he scored 10 goals.

A switch to Darlington came in November of the same season, and he went on to finish the 2017/18 campaign with 21 league goals.

He joined Alfreton Town for an undisclosed fee in October 2018 and then moved to league rivals Hereford FC in May 2019.

Leaving the War Memorial Athletic Ground is midfielder Nick Clayton-Phillips, who has moved to league rivals Alvechurch.

The 22-year-old had only joined the Glassboys in August 2021 having been released by Championship side West Bromwich Albion at the end of the 2020/21 season.

A lifelong Baggies fan, he progressed through the academy system at The Hawthorns into their under-23 side and he also featured for the club in the EFL Trophy competition.

He is a quick and direct winger who was loaned out to Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town for a month in December 2018 before joining National League North outfit Kidderminster Harriers on loan in January 2019 for the remainder of the season.

He re-joined National League side Solihull Moors on a season-long loan deal for the 2020/21 campaign.

He featured regularly for Albion's PL2 side, and initially joined the Moors on loan in February 2020, but only featured in 4 games before the season was suspended owing to Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Miracle Okafor and Darragh Bustin have also left Stourbridge on dual registration with Racing Club Warwick and Tividale respectively in the Midland League Premier Division.
