Ebac Northern League First Division club Guisborough Town have signed left back Joey Hope on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League North side Darlington.

The 19-year-old joined the Quakers in May 2021 after being released by then-League Two Grimsby Town in March 2021.

He signed for Grimsby after playing youth football on Teesside and after a year in their academy, signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2020.

He made his senior debut for Grimsby in their EFL Trophy win against Harrogate Town before joining Cleethorpes Town on a month’s loan, making 3 appearances for the Northern Premier League Division One South East side.
