The 20-year-old has featured in the Rebels` first team on 5 occasions this season after making 6 in the truncated 2020/21 campaign after arriving at The Crucial Environmental Stadium in the summer of 2020.

An impressive tally of 15 goals in just 13 appearances – as part of a final total of 24 in 35 – for Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side Andover Town in 2018/19 sealed a move up to then-Southern Premier Division South side Blackfield & Langley by November of that term.

Looking to stay at Step 3 after the Watersiders` decision to revert back to Wessex League football, Gwengwe moved on to Worthing nine months later.
