The 24-year-old joins the Dabbers following a brief return to North West Counties League Premier Division side AFC Liverpool.

Cockerline re-joined AFC Liverpool in the summer after leaving JD Cymru Premier side Aberystwyth Town, who he had signed for in January 2021.

He signed for Nantwich`s league rivals FC United of Manchester in June 2020 from AFC Liverpool, where he had scored 22 times in 26 appearances before the 2019/20 season came to a premature end.

He orginally joined the Little Reds in September 2019 having returned from `down under` where he moved in early 2019 to join second tier South Australia Division side Adelaide Blue Eagles, who he helped to the play-offs.

He began his career with Sheffield United before spending time on loan at Curzon Ashton.

After leaving Bramall Lane he linked up with Northwich Victoria before landing a move to the Vanarama National League with Barrow AFC.

After a loan spell with Stalybridge Celtic, he linked up with Southport in the summer of 2017.

He moved to Hednesford Town on a six-month loan deal a year later.
