The
28-year-old son of Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers, he had signed for
Bracknell Town in the summer of 2020 from Isthmian South Central rivals Marlow,
where he had originally been since August 2019 before returning to the latter
in October 2020.
He
was previously with Bracknell in 2018/19, signing in March 2019 from National
League South side Wealdstone.
He
had joined the Stones in November 2017 from Hungerford Town after leaving
Swindon Town at the end of the 2016/17 season.
He
started his career with Chelsea`s academy before moving to Brighton & Hove
Albion in May 2011.
He
made his senior debut for Brighton in an FA Cup tie against Wrexham in January
2012.
In
March 2013, he joined League Two side Exeter City on a two-month loan deal and
when he returned to Brighton, he was released.
In
July 2013, he signed for Oldham Athletic on a one-year contract but was
released by the Latics after limited appearances in the first team.
In
the summer of 2014, preceding his release from Oldham, he joined Swindon and
went on to play 68 times and net 5 goals for the Robins before being released.
He
has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at under-17 and under-19 level.
