Brown
brings a wealth of both experience and contacts, following spells at Dagenham
& Redbridge, Heybridge Swifts, Concord Rangers, Welling United and Grays
Athletic.
He
immediately impressed Billericay with his energy, attitude and his commitment
to getting the team back on the right track.
Brown
will be appointing an experienced assistant manager in due course but will
also be joined by Steve Pitt as football operations and recruitment manager.
Pitt
has a great deal of National League South knowledge from his five years in a
similar role with Chelmsford City.
James
Robinson joins as first team coach and is an ex-Billericay player and also a
prolific goalscorer throughout his playing career.
Brown
and his staff will take the reins from Monday and in the meantime, Danny Brown
and Ash Goss who are having their second spell of managing the team on an
interim basis. |
