The
28-year-old (pictured) had only joined Farsley in the summer from league rivals Spennymoor
Town.
A
tricky player comfortable on either wing, he signed for Spennymoor from another
National League North rival, Chester, in June 2019 amid interest from several
other clubs.
He
started his career with home-town club Burnley, but it was with Carlisle United
that he turned professional and made his senior debut in 2010.
He
was loaned out to Annan Athletic from Carlisle in 2012, before spells for
Workington, Stalybridge Celtic, Bradford Park Avenue, Southport, Stockport and
Curzon Ashton.
He
has been capped by Northern Ireland at under-17, 18 and under-19 level.
Clitheroe
have also secured the loan signings of three exciting young prospects from National
League North outfit AFC Fylde to bolster their squad.
Winger
Rhys Long, midfielder Harry Jones and left-back Mane Walder have all arrived at
Shawbridge on month-long deals.
The
teenage trio all signed professional deals with Fylde last season after coming
through the youth system with the Coasters.
All
three helped Fylde reach the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup with wins over
Morecambe, Sunderland and Cambridge United, with Walder captaining the side
that won last season’s North West Youth Alliance League title. |
