Shaquille
Master, a technically very talented midfielder, has joined the Pitmen from
league rivals Rushall Olympic.
The
now 23-year-old spent two seasons as a scholar with League Two side Northampton
Town.
After
his release by the Cobblers, he signed for United Counties League Premier
Division North side Leicester Nirvana where he became one of the most highly-rated players in the league.
He
stepped up to the Southern Premier Division Central with Rushall in the summer
of 2021.
Hednesford
manager Keenen Meakin-Richards told his club`s website: “Shaq is the kind of
player who really fits with our system, he is very good on the ball, likes to
get it down and play whilst he can also score goals which makes him a really
exciting signing for the club.”
Meakin-Richards (pictured) has also signed central midfielder James Hill.
The
27-year-old joins the Pitmen having recently been with Midland League Premier
Division side AFC Wulfrunians where he has captured the eye with some excellent
early season form.
He
has previously been with Crewe Alexandra before spending time with Stourbridge,
Team Dudley and Stourport Swifts prior to his arrival with Wulfs.
Hill
is a creative player possesses a great passing range with both feet and can
score goals demonstrated by his position as AFC Wulfrunians` top scorer so far
this season. |
