He first came to prominence at Armthorpe Welfare, where he bagged 46 goals in one season before transferring to Harrogate Town where he suffered a serious leg-break early in his career.

He spent several loan periods at Harrogate Railway before initially joining, again on loan, towards the end of the 2013/14 where he netted an impressive 7 times in 9 starts.

He transferred to Darlington in February 2016 but returned to the Silverlands in March 2017, initially on loan, and scored 11 goals from 11 starts that season.

The 2017/18 season saw him win the NPL`s `golden boot’ with 38 goals in 50 appearances and he also scooped the supporters` and players ‘player of the year awards.

Worksop have also signed forward Rob Guilfoyle on a month`s loan from Vanarama National league North side Bradford Park Avenue.

The 19-year-old joined Avenue in June.

A former academy player with National League North outfit York City, he left at under-16 level to sign a scholarship with Hull City.

He scored 50 goals in two seasons with the Tigers’ under-18 and under-23s sides before re-joining his home-town club York in the summer of 2020.
