The
31-year-old joins the Tigers from another Tiger – NPL Premier Division Hyde
United, who he signed for in December 2020 from Grantham Town.
He
first came to prominence at Armthorpe Welfare, where he bagged 46 goals in one
season before transferring to Harrogate Town where he suffered a serious
leg-break early in his career.
He
spent several loan periods at Harrogate Railway before initially joining, again
on loan, towards the end of the 2013/14 where he netted an impressive 7 times in
9 starts.
He
signed for NPL Premier side Buxton in the summer of 2014 after being released
by Harrogate and enjoyed a terrific campaign which culminated in being
nominated for the league team of the year after scoring an impressive 26 goals
in 50 matches.
He
transferred to Darlington in February 2016 but returned to the Silverlands in
March 2017, initially on loan, and scored 11 goals from 11 starts that season.
The
2017/18 season saw him win the NPL`s `golden boot’ with 38 goals in 50
appearances and he also scooped the supporters` and players ‘player of the year
awards.
Worksop
have also signed forward Rob Guilfoyle on a month`s loan from Vanarama National
league North side Bradford Park Avenue.
The
19-year-old joined Avenue in June.
A
former academy player with National League North outfit York City, he left at
under-16 level to sign a scholarship with Hull City.
He
scored 50 goals in two seasons with the Tigers’ under-18 and under-23s sides
before re-joining his home-town club York in the summer of 2020.
