James
Lawrie (pictured) makes the permanent switch from league rivals Nantwich Town.
The
30-year-old signed for the Dabbers in the summer of 2018 making the move from
Southern League Premier Division Central outfit Hednesford Town following a
fine season for the Pitmen scoring 13 goals.
A
Northern Ireland international, he began his career at Port Vale coming through
the youth ranks before being released in 2010 where he subsequently joined AFC
Telford United.
He
spent time on loan at Altrincham during 2011 before joining Alty on a permanent
basis where he helped the side gain promotion to the Conference in 2014.
Following
Altrincham’s relegation from the Conference North in the 2016/17 season, the
midfielder joined Hednesford at the start of the 2017/18 season.
Joining
Albion on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League North side Chorley is
Nathan Okome.
The
20-year-old signed for the Magpies in June 2021.
He
began his footballing education at Manchester United and then with Crewe
Alexandra and Macclesfield Town before making his senior bow with Cheshire
League side Knutsford.
He
went on to play in the North West Counties League for 1874 Northwich and Hanley
Town as well as training with the Barnsley under-23 squad while studying in
Sheffield. |
