Deacey
has a wealth of experience managing at the top of the non-League Pyramid with the
likes of Farsley Celtic, Scarborough Athletic and Bradford Park Avenue where he
was in the hot seat for eight consecutive years.
In
a career of over 20 years, he has notched up many promotions, cup wins and
league championships.
As
a player he spent 25 years at both League and non-League level with teams such
as Middleborough, Chesterfield, Harrogate Town, Bishop Auckland, Farsley Celtic
and North Ferriby United.
He
also lives locally and was born just outside Tadcaster.
As
a player, he represented Middlesbrough, Chesterfield, Harrogate Town, Bishop
Auckland, Farsley and North Ferriby in a 25-year career.
