The 28-year-old joins the Robins from Vanarama National League South new boys Slough Town, although he ended last season on dual registration with Bracknell`s then-Uhlsport Hellenic League rivals Thatcham Town, with whom he played for at Wembley in May in their victorious Buildbase FA Vase Final side against Stockton Town.

So 2017/18 was a special season for James as he not only won a Vase medal, he also earned an Hellenic League winners` medal with Thatcham and helped Slough to promotion from the Southern League.

James joined Slough from Maidenhead United in 2016 and totalled 17 goals in 51 appearances for the Rebels.

The pacey striker started at Wycombe Wanderers before spells with Maidenhead, Beaconsfield SYCOB and Flackwell Heath.

He hit over 40 goals in Flackwell's title-winning season which earned the striker an international call up for St Vincent & The Grenadines, for whom he currently possesses nine caps and has scored one goal.
