The
31-year-old former Northern Ireland under-21 international midfielder or
defender had joined the Gingerbreads in July from Toolstation Northern Premier
League Premier Division outfit Handsworth, where he had been since the summer
of 2020.
He
started out at Sheffield United but made his senior debut in the Conference on
loan with Oxford United in 2009.
He
signed for the U`s on a permanent basis in the summer of 2009 for a £15,000 fee
and went on to play 77 times as well as have loan stints with Newport County
and Mansfield Town.
He
later went on to play for those clubs on a more permanent basis, making 75 and
37 appearances respectively.
Spells
with Gainsborough Trinity and Boston United preceded him joining NPL Division
One East side Sheffield FC in November 2017.
