Stone joins the club on loan from Premier League Burnley, where he was a part of the under-23 squad.
The 19-year-old was a regular member of the under-23 squad as well as playing occasionally for the youth team.
He will remain at Giant Axe until January 2019.
On signing the promising young keeper, manager Phil Brown told the club`s website: “Aiden’s been with us for a couple of weeks and he’s impressed us all. He has lots of excellent attributes, he brings a physical presence, has good technical ability and displays a positive mindset.
“I like how he communicates with team-mates. He’s assertive with instruction/information but he does it in a relaxed manner, he remains calm.
His distribution has been first class, it’s exactly what we were looking for this season. A goalkeeper who not only has distance but also precision, Aiden can pick players out from a distance which in today’s game is vital. I’m grateful to Burnley for allowing him to join us on a long loan.
"Lastly, I am also grateful to Preston for allowing youth team `keeper James Cottam to join us for the pre-season period. James is a good keeper and he has done very well for us. I hope the experience James is getting in adult football over pre-season will aid his development. Preston have some excellent young keepers of which James is one”.
