Right-back Jamie Ashmore (pictured) returns to Coles Lane from Southern League Premier Division
Central side Alvechurch for a second spell with the Royals.
The
25-year-old signed for `Church in August 2021 from league rivals Barwell.
He
had been with the Leicestershire outfit since September 2020 after arriving
from then-Southern Division One Central side Halesowen Town, who he joined in
May 2019 from Redditch United, and then returned to the Yeltz in December 2020.
He
started his career with Walsall and has enjoyed spells at Bedworth United,
Sutton Coldfield, Alvechurch and Redditch. He likes to get forward at every
opportunity.
Joining
on a month`s loan from Southern League Premier Division Central side Hednesford
Town is Ben Guy.
A
former Aston Villa prospect, he had only signed for the Pitmen in October.
A
versatile attacking midfielder or forward, the 20-year-old made one appearance
for the Villa`s senior side when he played in the mainly under-21 side against
Salford City in the Leasing.com Trophy in 2019.
He
became a key component of the under-23s and made 12 Premier League 2
appearances and scored once as Villa finished seventh in the table.
He
also spent time out on loan in the Northern Premier League with Belper Town in
February 2020 and then on a season-long loan with Irish Premiership side
Portadown at the start of October 2020.
He
was released by Villa at the end of last season. |
